The North West Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (NWAAN) connects employers, current apprentices, and former apprentices who volunteer their time to champion technical education across the region. We work directly with schools and colleges to widen access to apprenticeship opportunities and help young people make informed, confident career choices.

Our ambassadors come from a broad range of sectors and organisations - from major employers to SMEs - and share one thing in common: a first-hand belief in what an apprenticeship route can do for a career. Through assemblies, form sessions, careers events, and one-to-one conversations, we bring real apprenticeship experience into classrooms across Cheshire & Warrington, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, and Cumbria.

We're also expanding our reach to connect with young people who aren't currently engaged with education, employment, or training - working alongside the organisations who already support them, to make sure the apprenticeship route reaches everyone it could help, not just those already in the system.
